Operation Homework is directed by Charlene Gladney. Mrs. Gladney has 15 years of corporate business and management experience. She has over 20 years of experience as a volunteer in the areas of education and tutoring. In 2006, Mrs. Gladney decided to leave the corporate sector and devote her time to helping close the achievement gaps in her community and ensuring that others have the same opportunity to attend college that she was afforded. Mrs. Gladney holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from NC State University in Raleigh, NC. She also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from NC Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC.
Our staff also includes reading and math specialists. We also have volunteers from the community and local universities and colleges. We work collaboratively with local companies, non-profit organizations, faith-based and community based groups to develop, coordinate and provide mutually beneficial outcomes.
